Data controller
The data controller is Pipeline Nodecore, 55 Rhosddu Rd; Finningly; DN9 2BR; United Kingdom. Email info@pipeline-nodecore.digital. Telephone 077 0102 0521. For the purposes of United Kingdom data protection law, we decide how and why personal data from this site and from studio engagements is processed.
What we collect
When you write via the contact form or email, we process your name, email address, optional topic, and message content. If you enrol, we additionally process billing details required for an invoice, a record of which programme you joined, and homework artefacts you choose to send. We do not ask for payment card numbers on this website because we do not operate checkout.
Technical data such as browser type and pages requested may be generated by the host that serves the static files. If you accept analytics cookies, we may process a limited usage signal as described in the cookie notice. If you reject, we do not use those optional cookies; the site still works.
We do not want special category data or the personal data of your app’s end users in homework. If a message accidentally includes it, we will ask you to resend a redacted version and delete the original when practicable.
Why we process it
Enquiries and enrolment are processed to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract for a programme. Site security and essential cookie preference storage are processed as our legitimate interests in running a small studio site. Where we rely on legitimate interests we have considered your right to object. Optional analytics, if any, run only with consent recorded in localStorage under the key pipeline-nodecore-cookie-consent.
Retention
Contact messages that do not become an enrolment are kept for up to 18 months so we can resume a conversation without asking you to repeat the app description. Invoices and contract records are kept for six years after the tax year of the engagement, which is the period we consider necessary for United Kingdom accounting and dispute purposes. Homework stored at your request is kept for the duration of the programme plus 12 months, then deleted unless you ask us to return a copy and destroy our file sooner. Cookie consent in localStorage remains until you clear the browser or we change the storage key and you choose again.
Server logs held by a hosting provider follow that provider’s cycle, typically under 90 days unless needed to investigate abuse.
Who we share with
We share data with professional advisers (accountant, solicitor) when required, with a hosting provider that stores the static site, and with an email provider that carries studio mail. We do not sell personal data. Visiting tutors see only what is needed to mark a circle. Peers in Atelier Circle see what you present; we ask them not to copy it outside the room.
International transfers
Our primary filing is in the United Kingdom. Some processors (font delivery, image hosts, or email infrastructure) may store or access data in other countries, including the United States. Where a transfer from the United Kingdom occurs, we rely on the mechanisms permitted under United Kingdom data protection law at the time, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses adopted for UK use, together with a transfer assessment where required. Public image URLs on course and journal pages are requested by your browser directly from those hosts; we do not upload your personal data to those hosts as part of page rendering.
Your rights
You may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, erasure where the law allows, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability for information you provided to us. You may withdraw cookie consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. To exercise rights, email info@pipeline-nodecore.digital. We may need to verify identity. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the United Kingdom supervisory authority.
Children
Programmes are aimed at working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Seat offers are reviewed by a person.
